GravityZone for xSP offers simplicity of SaaS solution, control of hosting in own infrastructure
Bitdefender, the innovative security solutions provider, has released Bitdefender GravityZone for xSP to help internet service providers, cloud service providers and telecom operators increase revenue by adding the world’s top-ranked security to their offerings to business customers.
As the shift to cloud accelerates and a global surge in breaches increases corporate demand for better security, Bitdefender GravityZone for xSP lets service providers offer or manage optimized security for machines running on VMware, Citrix, or any other virtualization platform, as well as for machines running in AWS or other public cloud environments.
Bitdefender technology, now lets service providers deliver the flexibility and simplicity of a SaaS solution while increasing control and compliance by hosting the cloud console in their infrastructure. LoginVSI testing has proven Bitdefender offers the smallest performance footprint in the industry.
From a single console, service providers can easily provision customer or partner accounts and remotely manage security for any number of companies, across private, public and hybrid cloud. Monthly pay-as-you-go licensing means service providers don’t need to procure and update licenses for each customer.
“Bitdefender GravityZone for xSP comes at a time of rapid changes in the needs of corporate security. The solution is the result of serious engagement with service providers, and an extensive history of working closely with them,” said Jose Lopez, VP, Technology Licensing and MSP at Bitdefender.
For service providers using Citrix, Bitdefender also offers an entirely new layer of security with Hypervisor Introspection, to uncover and block advanced persistent threats at the hypervisor level.
Bitdefender’s security has consistently ranked top in recent years in detection and in minimizing system impact. In February 2017, Bitdefender won the Best Performance 2016 Award for corporate users from the prestigious independent analysis firm AV-TEST, and the “Outstanding Product” award from AV-Comparatives after taking joint highest score overall in a year of rigorous testing.
Bitdefender’s effectiveness and light footprint stem, in part, from advanced machine learning algorithms, its use of the Bitdefender Global Protective Network, and technologies such as advanced anti-exploit, web filtering, content control, continuous process monitoring and device control.
